Impact Assessment Tool

The simple, and at the same time, the bold aim of this tool is to help city planners to assess the impact of an implemented sustainable mobility solution together with selected participants of stakeholders. This tool is a trade-off between the amount of information needed to make a reasonable assessment and the amount needed to communicate the impact to stakeholders and other cities still thinking about implementing similar solutions.

HUPMOBILE Framework

HUPMOBILE framework contributes to a sustainable change of planning processes concerning urban mobility. It is an online framework that encompasses access to all the other HUPMOBILE tools and is interlinked with a starting survey that allows the involved stakeholder to interact with the framework. Based on the user’s input to the starting questionnaire, the user will be guided to the appropriate selection of tools developed in the HUPMOBILE project. The online policy guideline tool gives fast access to the developed tools for the right target groups.

Participatory.Tools

Hupmobile’s Participatory.Tools is created as part of Hupmobile project’s activity of Improving Stakeholder Processes (lead by City of Riga) and Co-creation with residents (lead by Aalto University). The tool box aims to improve and broaden the stakeholder involvement processes, and assist the cities in their work with stakeholders within the core activities of the HUPMOBILE project and beyond.

Transport and Active Mobility (AM) in port areas (interactive map)

Transport and Active Mobility (AM) in port areas is currently a crucial point that city administration must tackle with Port Authorities.

Due to increasing global merchandise and urbanisation, port areas and residential areas are getting closer, narrowing the division between the two. As a result, we already have sub-residential port areas.

Sustainability of Transport System Self-assessment

The HUPMOBILE toolbox is intended to give a rough estimate of the potential impact of selected mobility solutions compared to the current situation in your city. This self-assessment part of the toolbox is built to help you pinpoint possible areas of improvement in your region or the possibilities to have the best impact in selected sustainability aspects.

Transport Solutions Interactive map

Map tool cover image

This interactive map highlights the sustainable mobility solutions identified in the research "Benchmarking of Transport solutions in BSR cities" which is part of HUPMOBILE project. We are not aiming to compare cities to each other, but hoping to increase the knowledge among participating port cities about best practices in the leading Baltic cities and ports in each of the
