One of the targets of HUPMOBILE project is to bring closer together and support networking of the ITS community in Baltic Sea region. As we miss these days when side conversations and all other social aspects were possible in real meetings, it's time to find new ways for virtual networking.

Maarja Rannama, CEO of ITS Estonia and network manager of ITL Digital Lab, organized the first ITS virtual cocktail gathering for the representatives of the national ITS associations on 20th of January. ITS Finland, ITS Germany and ITS Denmark gave overview of their activities, the work done within HUPMOBILE project has been presented to participants by ITS Estonia and after that discussions followed. Participants from 14 countries took part in the meeting.

Well, even if it did not substitute face-to-face meetings, it was an informal way to share information how other ITS network organizations from all over Europe are working, what are their main challenges and everyone could propose good solutions to these challenges based on their experiences. Hopefully next gatherings will follow!
